Showcasing Abigail Jackson, a TEF 2021 Community Service Award Recipient

The Trumansburg Education Foundation annually awards a $1000 scholarship to a graduating TCSD senior for reimbursement of expenses related to post-secondary educational pursuits (tuition, books, etc.). To be considered for this award, students must demonstrate a commitment to community service and must have been accepted to college or another post-secondary educational institution. Students electing to apply to AmeriCorps or other well-established service organizations may also apply for this scholarship to assist with related expenses.

Here’s a little bit about Abigail in her own words:

My name is Abigail Jackson and I am currently a Freshman at Niagara University studying Criminal Justice and Criminology. I am a student Ambassador at Niagara and am in multiple clubs. I am in Criminal Justice Association, Campus Programming Board, Ski club and an currently trying to establish the Niagara University Airsoft club. I am an avid animal lover and am trying to convince my roommate to add a fish to our room. When not in class or participating in a club, I enjoy consuming copious amounts of ramen noodles.

Congratulations to Abigail, and best wishes for success in her future endeavors!
